Community Development Support Services (CODESS) is a youth- and women-focused, community-based organization founded in March 2025.
It was established by a team of dedicated community development and health professionals who envisioned a platform for meaningful engagement with communities, stakeholders, and development partners.
Headquartered in Kisumu County, CODESS works to address the development needs of youth and women in rural and peri-urban areas through collaborative, locally driven solutions. We partner with national and county government line ministries, civil society organizations, and other like-minded institutions to create lasting impact.
Our organization is governed by a Board of 7 members—4 women and 3 men—who bring diverse expertise and leadership to guide our mission. At the core of our work is the unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of youth and women, empowering them to lead dignified and self-sustaining lives.
